Woking & Horsell Cricket Club's Welfare Officer is David Barter. David is dedicated to supporting the club to adopt and implement 'Safe Hands', the England and Wales Cricket Board's policy for safeguarding young people. This policy includes a number of measures to ensure the safety of young people, including mandatory CRB checks for all coaches, captains and vice captains that deal with young people in the club. David has undertaken several training programmes and is in regular contact with Surrey County Cricket to keep up to date with all aspects of safeguarding young people.
