Giles Green the WHCC First team wicket keeper ran two wicket keeping sessions on Friday 15 May for young aspiring Colts wicket keepers. In total 5 boys from Under 12 to under 17 received expert personal tuition on the finer arts of operating behind the stumps. Despite the intermittent downpours the boys showed a great willingness to learn and no shortage of dexterity and skill in a series of exercises that should improve their confidence and provide them with valuable techniques to improve on their performances during the season. All the boys (Pourav, Conor, Matthew, Jamie, Patrick) were tired at the end but were very grateful for the opportunity to meet and be trained by the club's number one keeper. Thanks to Giles who made an extra effort to leave London early to be at Brewery Road for 6pm. Giles was impressed by the standard shown and the boys enthusiasm and has agreed to run another Friday night session later in the season so budding keepers keep a look out on the web site for the next date.
