It gives me enormous pleasure to announce that Woking & Horsell CC have been Clubmark reaccredited following our inspection by Surrey CCC this summer. This is a fantastic achievement and one that we should all be very proud of. Particular thanks go to Mike Tiplady for his leadership in his role as Colts Chairman and David Barter who in his role as Welfare Officer also took the lead with our application. Of course this would not be possible without the dedication, enthusiasm and commitment shown by all of our coaches across the various age groups, not to mention the many parents and senior players who play an active role in making our thriving colts section the success it is today.

For those of you interested in finding out more about Clubmark and what it means, I would direct you to the excellent website

For me the first couple of paragraphs on the Clubmark website say it all. They read “It shows that a club provides the right environment which ensures the welfare of members and encourages everyone to enjoy sport and stay involved throughout their lives. An accredited club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages as well as helping parents and carers know that they're choosing the right club for their young people.”

Club Chairman
